Joscelyn Himes

Bio:

Joscelyn Himes is a textile artist whose hand-dyed fabrics combine the precision patterning of Shibori tying methods with compelling color sensibility.  Joscelyn dyes her patterns on silk charmeuse, silk dupioni, linen, nylon, and cotton. Her fabrics have been used in collections of several larger design houses including Bill Blass, Donna Karan and Vera Wang, as well as in collections of boutique couture designers like Colleen Quen in SanFrancisco. 

 

Joscelyn also produces a line of hand-dyed silk scarves, limited edition clothing and home accessories.  For an appointment please email or call.

A Montana native. Joscelyn received a degree in Art History and Fiber from the Kansas City Art Institute.  She lives in Kansas City, Mo  with her two children.
